Our Payment Terms, Conditions & Boundaries
- Fees paid are non-refundable and must be used within the same year, they cannot be transferred to the following year.
- All appointments that are cancelled or rescheduled in the month of December that are held with a booking fee will automatically forfeit that fee, and a new fee will be required to make future appointments.
- Please ensure that you wish to proceed with all hair extension/hair loss fittings prior to booking an appointment.
- You must arrive to your appointment on time.
- All booked appointments must be confirmed via the booking system the same day you receive your SMS confirmation. The system sends out a message TWO days before your appointment. All appointments not confirmed in the same day of receiving the SMS are removed from the booking system and your fee will be forfeited.
- Cancellations will result in booking fees being forfeited as a cancellation fee. A booking fee will be required at the time of booking your colour / hair extension / hair loss appointment.
- Hair extension, hair loss and colouring appointments will not be accepted without the payment of a booking fee.
- 72 hours’ notice is required to reschedule an appointment. This excludes notice given over a weekend, bank holidays, or when the salon is closed for annual leave, it only includes notice given during our normal working week. For appointments rescheduled with less than 72 hours’ notice, the booking fee will be forfeited as a cancellation fee. You will then be required to pay the full amount for a rescheduled appointment.
- Late appointments will be charged for. Charges will apply after a client is more than fifteen minutes late.
- Remaining fees and costs must be paid on the day of the appointment. Payments may be made by card, or bank transfer, cash is no longer accepted.
- Refunds and replacements are not given under any circumstances.
- Our price list is intended for guidance only. Prices will vary according to individual client requirements, their natural hair types, their hair density, and their natural hair colour. As each client is unique, accurate pricing can only be provided after a client consultation has taken place. The right to amend policy applies here.
- There is a consultation fee of £20 for all consultation appointments which is non-refundable. Our consultations are a service and will last approximately 1 hour. The consultation fee must be paid in full prior to booking the appointment.
- Please note, we do not remove, maintain, or cut hair extensions fitted by any party other than Lorudu. The only exception to this is if the client signs a disclaimer prior to any work commencing.
- At Lorudu we reserve the right to amend our policies and prices at any time without warning and at our own discretion.
- At Lorudu we have a Zero Tolerance policy and expect you to respect these boundaries. We treat our clients how we expect to be treated. We have the right to always be treated with respect and dignity without the risk of any type of threat, abuse, or violence. This type of behaviour will not be tolerated towards our staff, or anybody else. An offender will be asked to leave the premises and will be reported to the police. Drama queens and those with high self-importance please take note, as your custom will be declined.
- Due to the one to one appointments that we offer to all of our clients, reoccurring cancellations or the rescheduling of appointments on multiple occasions will result in you being charged in full at the time of booking a new appointment. All new clients will be required to pay the full amount of their service upfront. This may be expected for every reoccurring appointment and is at our discretion. This will mean that there will be no additional cost to clients, unless any additional products or services are required at the time of your appointment.
Re-Tipping Terms & Conditions
- Please send your hair by special delivery only, (this is the only way to insure your hair).
- Only send out hair that has been freshly washed, conditioned and fully dry and tied at the root end in neat bundles. Hair that is sent out dirty and not bundled will incur an additional charge. Please make sure you only use cheap bands and plastic bags within the package, as cosmetic bags or hair bands etc. will not be returned.
- Please provide a note within your parcel with your in-depth requirements along with contact details.
- By sending your hair to us, you are in agreement that we cannot be held responsible if you do not like the end result of your bonds. Alterations can be done, but this will be at an extra cost to you.
- We cannot be held responsible if you experience any shedding of the hair or if the bonding has broken down. We only use the most durable materials. If this occurs this is classed as an aftercare issue and we strongly advise you take this up with your technician. You agree that we cannot be held responsible for any damage incurred to the bond whilst wearing the hair extensions.
- We don’t believe in using Keratin glue fused directly onto your natural hair. If you require a hot fusion method we will only tip your extensions with a polymer resin. This is not a glue. By sending your hair to us, you agree to using a deep cleansing shampoo, as over time the bonding will break down if you don’t. You also agree that you must not put conditioner on your root area and extensions must be completely dried on a medium to cool heat setting. Hair must not get greasy as this will break the bonding down quicker. This bonding material is what we use for our signature bonded hair extensions in salon. It is easily removed using an acetone product. As long as the hair extensions have been applied correctly you can get up to 3 months with this bonding material.
- Our turnaround time is usually within 1 week, however, this could be extended during busy times. Please bear this in mind when posting out your hair.
- Hair will only be posted back once the payment has been received via bank transfer.
- The salon is closed on Sundays and Mondays. Please only send out hair to be delivered during our opening hours. If the hair will be delivered by Royal Mail, DPD etc. when the salon is closed this will incur a charge of £50 to retrieve it from the delivery office.
- Due to the nature of this business, we strongly advise that you call the salon on 01925 550440 to check lead times before sending us your hair. This will ensure a prompt response. Messaging via social media is not recommended for prompt responses.
